A spacious Javanese teak studio set in beautiful gardens with two decks. The property is accessed via a rustic wooden bridge over a pond with lotus blossoms and running water. The house has a large bathroom running the entire width of the building at the back. The main space consists of a comfortable king sized bed (2m x 2m) with a mosquito net, two large fitted wardrobes, a large table which seats 8, large sofa, coffee table and a fitted kitchenette for hot and cold drinks, snacks, etc. with a kettle and fridge and there is still loads of space! The front of the building has three sets of sliding glass doors which open onto a large covered ironwood deck with a couple of loungers. The Limasan is a constructed mainly from natural materials, such as teak which is now very difficult to find even in Indonesia. It has a six metre roof and massive pillars creating a very funky, contemporary space albeit within an antique, traditional building. It has a ceiling fan and a floor fan for very hot days but with so many doors and windows it is easy to live in this wonderful space.
